Ornate Curved Jewellery Chest

This chest, with its exaggerated curves and gently sloping top, is a wonderful place to store either jewelry or cherished keepsakes.  Constructed with heavy curved laminated blocks, thin splines, contrasting screw plugs, and shaped into flowing curves, it is a different take on the classic jewelry box.  These boxes have two strips of exotic bocote wood in the lid.  The chest comes with a removable divider insert.

Complete with brass plated hinges, hasp, and brass lid stays, finished with varnish oil and polished with wax.
